Feldkirch, with its perfectly preserved old town, is one of Austria's most beautiful medieval cities – and yet one of Vorarlberg's best-kept secrets. The town, with a population of around 35,000, is located in the far west of the country, right on the border with Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
